Hmm... Saw a photo on the newspaper... It was a photo that has a group of women in the same uniform squatting on the ground, with some ppl looking curiously at them...

Then i read the description, it was actually in celebrating "3-8 women's day", a group of female prisoners, who had kept a good record over the year, are rewarded to sightsee at xi' an.. And the picture depicts them squatting, wearing discriminating prisoners' uniforms and with a crowd scrutinising at them...

Notice the difference of my perception of the same pic before and after i look at the description..

Well, no offence, but i was thinking to myself, "some kinda reward"...

Well, i suppose the people are able to recognise that prisoners' uniform, moreover they were all squatting at an obvious spot with police officers guarding...

If i were one of them, i would be suffering from more humiliation than to be able to enjoy the reward --- a few moment of freedom...

Well, i have nv been in a prison before, nor lost my freedom, maybe to them, freedom is more worthy as compared to their pride...

I supposed there is a trade off for everything...
