Is marriage a promise to continue staying with the other party, although you may no longer love each other?

It's always say, love doesn't last and soon u are "family". Can 2 person be forever in love?

If there is no marriage and commitment, does that means that we can always seek love, unrestricted?

If love eventually end up in marriage and when love ceased and marriage is still in place,  is marriage a comfortable boundary which the 2 person is willing to stay within, or is it a fence that stop the two person from leaving?
