Chiangmai takeaways

  1) Witnessd the income gap
Locals are eating simple meals after working hard
Tourist are wasting food as there are too much to eat

2) cruelty to animal
Most regrettable ride ever, on a cow cart and naughty elephant which was whacked several times for its disobedience
Food chain explains the logic of eating, what abt conquering and making them work for us? Be it for earning money, for experience or for entertainment, this is a bad bad thing
Our "higher intelligence" makes us a more cruel person. Perhaps it's the price of civilisation. We exploit other non human to gain money so that we don't have to kill each other for resources. Ok, there are still human who exploites human to earn money, and we called them uncivilized.

Our comfort in life allows room for benevolent to grows and make us think that we are more "civilised". The extra thing we have to induce us to judge others as cruel and less civilised is a perhaps more fortunate life.

Maybe it's all survival instincts and becos human designed the game in a different way, we have to adapt to it. The game is designed that killing a Human is murder, killing a dolphin is cruel, yet killing an ant is only normal

The bottomline of human instinct is always to survive, which means to attack and protect. Survival of the fittest.
